Breakers 2010 Developmental Grassroots Program
U6 – U9 Fall 4v4 League
The Santa Cruz County Breakers is pleased to announce our 2010, 4v4 Developmental Fall League. 4v4 is the preferred developmental format of youth coaches worldwide, providing a fast-paced, high-touch environment to further increase game play comprehension. All Training session will be led by Breakers Grassroots Developmental Program directors Brian Cronin and Jessica Perkin. The training sessions will focus on technical skill building in an engaging and stimulating setting. The Breakers is dedicated to developing players of all ages and abilities, boys and girls alike.
Important Facts You Need to Know:
•All training sessions will be held on Fridays and begin on August 27th and will end on November 12th
•All Training sessions will be held at Cabrillo College on the Track Field
•Training times will be as follows:
U6 & U7 - 4pm to 5pm
U8 & U9 - 5:15pm to 6:30pm
•All games will be on Sundays and will start on September 12th and end on November 14th
•All Games will be held at Cabrillo College and/or Anna Jean Cummings
•Parent coaches are encouraged to participate under the guidance and supervision of the Breakers professional coaching staff
•Coaches clinics will be offered once a month by program director
•1st coaches meeting/orientation will be on Wednesday, August 25th at 4:00pm at Cabrillo College
•We will stay as gender-pure as possible, if not the clinics and the teams will be coed
•All players will be registered and insured under CYSA (California Youth Soccer Association)
•All the participants will receive one free Nike T-shirt
•Cost $ 125 per player, scholarships available
