1. Paolo Carbone, Coaching Director

Minutes for November and December approved.

CIF is allowing the high school girls to go to Florida for ODP try-outs afterall.

Paolo recommends Emiliano Aragon as coach for U12 Boys. Paolo recommends that the Breakers consider adding Michael Gottsegen's Class III team as a Ambronzino level team with the Breakers with Gottsegen as coach. Paolo recommends David Frank, Mike Martin, and Dave Siracusa, Carlos Carillo, Juan Roman as potential coaches depending on quantity of teams. Motion made to approve the coaches. Motion approved.

Paolo proposes try-out dates for the days of Feb 3, 9, March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at Cabrillo College.

Paolo has thought more about the structure of the coaching directors and is suggesting that Ashely Edgar and Mike Arzabal act as assistant coaching directors for U10-13 with Paolo as supervisor and head coaching director for U14-U18 as of April first to be announced at try-outs. The Academy will be restructured as well geared to U10-13 with their coaches and coaching director once a week. Assistant Directors will be paid $5000.00 each to be taken from Paolo's salary. Job descriptions will be created and these two will be hired as independent contractors. Motion made to restructure accordingly. Motion approved.

Try-outs will be marketed. Options for getting the word out are being considered including mailing, school distribution, Sentinel ad, breaking away in the Sentinel, etc.

All teams are playing Nor Cal premier in the Spring, not playing CYSA or Super Y.

2. Larry Johnson, Past President

Larry will get together with Carson in the next few weeks to discuss the Breakers Cup.

3. Larry Busch, Vice-President

Larry Busch suggests that perhaps Eric and Carson work on creating subcommittees to look into some of the larger future goals of the club in which they show interest, such as a large soccer complex, restructuring coaching pay, etc. Eric and Carson will work with Paolo to come up with a coach's salary schedule to look at next meeting.

4. Gary Redenbacher, Treasurer

No changes in finances. We don't have a system for dealing with bounced checks. Margaret and Gary are working on a system to deal, possibly telling a player can't play until payment is received.

5. Matt McDowell, Communications Director

Announcement of team page will be made at Manager's meeting.

6. Margaret Price, Registrar

Margaret is helping Michelle with uniforms and has sent out a request to managers to give her an approximate number of uniforms that will be needed. A dummy order has been placed with Rogue soccer.

7. Parise Pak, Fundraiser

Parise has a flyer for the fundraiser drawing. Each team will come up with 5 prizes. A drawing will be held. Teams will be able to keep the money that their teams bring in.

Parise also worked on a preliminary sponsor letter. Board will take a look at it and get back to her for suggestions.

8.Eric Buchere, Class III Coordinator

Try to have Class I teams coaches attend at least 1 training session at their age group.

Thinking of setting up an all-star game for a Class III team to play Class I teams.

9. Carson Kelly, Tournament Director

Would like to get some money from restaurants, etc. for the club

10. Bob Evans, Ambronzino Rep

Meeting was held to determine which teams will be relegated and which will move up. They are moving from 20 to18 teams per age group.

February 6th, next meeting

Respectfully submitted,

Teresa Gaims, Secretary
