3. Approval of Minutes:
4. President’s Report: Larry Johnson: February 28th is a manager's meeting. Registration, field use, tournament, Breaker's gear, US Club, and uniforms will be discussed with managers. 5. Vice-President's Report- Larry Busch: The League Board still looking for a President. Now, President is a rotating position. 6. Coaching Director's Report - Paolo Carbone: It was reported that the County League voted to put U 9 developmental league under the control of The Breakers. 7. Ambronzino Rep, Bob Evans: Bob reviewed the Ambronzino rules which are designed to increase the competitiveness of the league. The two Breakers team which were on the “bubble” have been approved to play the next year. 8. Registrar, Kim Graff:The League is moving toward online registration. This will be available for parents next year at the earliest. A lot of registration protocol is in flux. 1601's will be filled out, but may be replaced. 9. Field Coordinator, Phil Furniss: It is reported that we will not have Shoreline. We will have Pinto Lake and Good Shepherd. Costs to the club should be less. Spring League will have a cost of $200.00 per team for field use. 10. Corporate Fundraiser, Jay Gomez:n considering uniform purchases, Jay reports that the smartest thing to do might be to stay with Adidas for the next few years. Jay, Paolo, and Bob will meet with Adidas sales rep February 19th to figure out what they are willing to do for the club. The Breakers also need to put in place a distribution plan and select a vendor.. 11. Communication Director, Matt McDowell:The Breakers website will now include two logos; one for the current youth site, the other for the NPSL men's team. This site will be up on Wednesday. Also, we may want to create individual team pages or links to eteamz pages. 12. Treasurer, Gary Redenbacher: Through March 2007, The Breakers were -$7285.00 in the hole, not including more money to be paid out for Y League travel, approximately $3000.00. There is a reserve available, but The Breakers will look at ways to bring in new revenue including marketing gear and having a possible second tournament prior to State Cup. Gary will bring back a budget next month and would like to put in a line item for a reserve. 13. Ref Coordinator, Rich Rhode: Ref clinic March 12th M/W/F. Another clinic can be held in April. Also, a weekend clinic can be set up for parents. Referees fees will raise for older games. 14. Next meeting was set for March 12th. Submitted by Teresa Gaims |
