3. Approval of Minutes: postponed.

4. President's Report - Larry Johnson: Larry discussed the recent League meeting, which was chaired by Jay as VP and the issues that arose, which affect our Club. Larry Biggam and Jay also provided their assessment of where the League was at this point. The Sand Soccer tournament and the money requested for the Silicon Valley soccer fields were also discussed. Larry Johnson also reported that with respect to the Breakers Cup the first weekend in August, the work has started and he felt he had a good core of volunteers to work with.

5. Boys' and Girls' Coaching Director's Report - Paolo Carbone: Paolo presented his three-year plan (see the handout attached). Paolo also mentioned a Division 3 coach who had applied to coach class 1 and who indicated that he had players that needed a home, etc., the Board discussed this situation. The Board also unanimously resolved to pay for Club coaches to attend a Stanford workshop.

6. Abronzino Report - Bob Poser: Bob discussed the new Abronzino website and the 7/10 seeding meeting. Bob also discussed the coaching licensing policy that is to be applied to D3 and well as D1 coaches. He also informed the Board that the referees would be evaluated by the coaches at Morgan Hill. Bob then discussed our relationship with Adidas and their comment that we were a “model program.” Next Bob discussed the proposal to buy our own balls in bulk in order to obtain a better price for our teams. After discussion the Board unanimously resolved to buy 100 game balls and 500 training balls. Bob then proposed a coaches package, which was also unanimously passed by the Board.
