Call to order by Larry Johnson at 7:45 PM+
2. Attendance: Members present:
Larry Johnson, President
Kim Graff, Registrar
Phil Furniss, Field Coordinator
Matt McDowell, Communications Director
Paolo Carbone, Coaching Director
Larry Busch, Vice-President
Larry Biggam, Class III Liaison
3. President's Report Larry Johnson
1. League Meeting Update - Coaching license requirements are being enforced
rigorously
4. Coaching Directors Report - Paolo Carbone
1. Ambronzino League is making it difficult to bring in new Breakers teams
Policy implications are that we need to ensure we have U10 teams enter Ambronzino
and we have to watch week teams to ensure they are not kicked out.
2. Girl U12 were not allowed into Ambronzino only since they were a new team
and Ambronzino Board will no longer allow new teams.
3. This is a good opportunity to offer assistance to Mid-County, Aptos, and
Pajaro Valley Clubs with their Class 3 programs. Paolo will write up a proposal
for BOD review.
4. Seating meeting July 10 - Ashley Edgar, Tim Maximoff and Phil Furniss will
attend.
5. Registrar's Report, Kim Graff
1. U17 Boys White team has not turned in paperwork for CYSA
6. Field Coordinator Report - Phil Furniss
1. We will have same practice venues as last year, plus Cabrillo stadium after
7 PM
7. Corporate Fundraising - Jay Gomez
1. Oct 13 set aside for golf tournament at DeLaviega
2. Kick off party or event needs to happen to promote the golf tournament.
3. CB Hennigans will do the dinner and that's OK with DeLaviega
8. New Business - Larry Johnson reported that Edgar Dias on Boys U15 is going
with the US Club ODP team in Germany and the U15 have raised over $2000 for
airfare expense. Jay moved to have the Breakers contribute $400 to get to the
$2400 for airfare. Phil seconded and motion passed unanimously.
9. Meeting was closed at 9:30 PM
Respectfully submitted,
Phil Furniss for Mike Corman, Secretary
