1. Call to order by Larry Johnson

2. Attendance: Board Members present:
Larry Johnson, President and tournament director
Larry Busch, Vice President
Paolo Carbone, Coaching Director
Gary Redenbacher, Treasurer
Kim Graff, Registrar
Mark Hogenhout, D3 Liason
Phil Furniss, Field Coordinator

3. Approval of Minutes:

July 15, 2007 minutes approved.

4. Coaching Director's Report- Paolo Carbone

U9 Developmental League is forming and will be held at Cabrillo. License reimbursement will be offered for coaches who complete USSF and NSCAA National courses and have coached in the club for 3 years. The club will not reimburse for travel or hotel costs.

Cabrillo stadium is booked for football and soccer for the fall.

Y league has a few games left. Checks were distributed for last home games for the refs. 19 players recommended. Application in for 2008. U13, U15, U17 will be merging for Y League in order to make players more available, take stress off families and allow teams to play together.

Breakers academies are set for the fall for up to U14 with each team having two sessions.

Breakers Camp was successful.

U11 girls needs new trainer. Paolo will step in to help in the meanwhile.

5. Presidents Report - Larry Johnson:

Breakers Cup was successful. Made about $21,000. Next year will be separate from Class III. Refs did great job. Lots of good feedback from refs.

6. Ambronzino Rep, Bob Evans:

U 10 girls will be in division 2. U17/U18 will play at Morgan Hill. Any changes need to be made before the season starts.

7. Kim Graff, registrar

374 players are registered.

8. Michelle Lee- Volunteer Coordinator

Posters will be put up in businesses. We can have 72 golfers and 100 dinners. Website will be up in a week and a half. Basket information has been sent out to managers. Menu is being worked on. Pasatiempo is a nice venue.

9. Phil Furniss- Field Coordinator

Is going to attend County field meeting. Will let them know what fields are available for their use.

10. Gary Redenbacher Treasurer:

Tax return is looking good- is due in two days. General finances are looking good.

11. Mark Hogenhout-D3 coordinator:

Participated in All-Star game for NPSL against MLS Chivas. Was team captain for the team-there were two other Breakers players at the game.
