1. Call to order by Larry Johnson at 7:15 PM+

3. Presidents Report - Larry Johnson:
It was confirmed that previously approved payments had been made to Breakers players traveling to Florida for ODP. It was mentioned that there might be possible trouble with UCSC access for Breakers Cup 2007. Several venues have been secured. Breakers need to secure Soquel and look into Mission Hill and Depot Field.
4. Coaching Director's Report - Paolo Carbone:
Paolo reported on the previous weekends U10-U12 boys' try-outs, which were a success with 180 players in attendance. Try-out dates have been set for remaining teams in March. A meeting was held in December, and a meeting is scheduled for January 22nd with Class III coordinators. Paolo discussed dates set for Breakers Academy and goalie training to run 3/26-5/21 and 9/10- 11/12. A motion was made and unanimously approved to compensate a coach for $1000.00 who did not receive payment from a team that he coached midseason to help out the Breakers Club. Paolo reported on the invitation received by U18 team to attend a tournament in Switzerland. All coaches except one have been set for the following year. The District recommended that a Breakers coach receive a 4 game suspension for a red card violation. A motion was made and unanimously approved to follow this recommendation.
5. Ambronzino Rep, Bob Evans
Bob Evans reported on changes in Ambronzino that will affect all Class I programs. Two Breakers team are relegated to Class III, and one is on the bubble for the next season. The Board discussed what role the Breakers organization will take with these Class III teams, and it was agreed that this should be discussed with the League.
6. Field Coordinator, Phil Furniss
Phil Furniss reported that he has secured fields for Spring Y League practices. There was discussion of future issues with Shoreline, Good Shepherd and the old football field at Cabrillo.
7. Corporate Fundraiser, Jay Gomez
Jay Gomez said that he wants to get an earlier start on the Golf Tournament, which was a success again this year, as well as search for other sustainable sources of revenue. He asked the Board to consider ways to help financially disadvantaged players or teams that have a disproportionate share of such players. The Board agreed to look into this.
8. Communication Director, Matt McDowell
Matt McDowell reported that the Breakers website had 1800 visitors and that he is about to redesign the homepage. Paolo requested a link to try-outs.
9. Next meeting was set for January 8th and it was decided that meetings would be held regularly on the 2nd Monday of each month.
