Breakers Girls U18 UNDEFEATED in the Silicon Valley Cup

The Santa Cruz County Breakers Girls U18 team won the prestigious Labor Day Silicon Valley Cup in Morgan Hill last weekend.

They went undefeated over 5 games scoring 12 goals and only allowing 1 goal.

The team is made up of some of the best county-wide high school girls soccer players: Scotts Valley High School; Lindsey Prentiss, Nicole Carver; SLV High School: Maria Hare, Caitlin Van Horn; Santa Cruz High School: Kelsie Johnson, Lyndsie Slakey, Christian Ruiz, Jane Shook, Lauren Miller, Keiko Kurita; Soquel High School, Syd Nimemin; Harbor High School, Hannah Fleslier, Sophia Beck; Aptos High School, Christina Connery, Nora Brackbill, Jessica Zavala; Watsonville High School, Paulina Gonzalez.

The team is coached by Matt McDowell.
