SCC Breakers Boys on Impressive Tournament Winning Streak

The SCC Breakers U14 Boys win for the second weekend in a row, this time in the 9th ranked National tournament in the country. On Friday 8/8 the Breakers beat the Tracy FC Gladiators 5-1 and the Diablo Futbol Club 6-4.

Saturday the Breakers tied the Santa Clara Sporting to move through to the quarter final round. In the quarter finals, the Breakers beat the Santa Rosa Atletico 3-2 and moved on to the semi finals Sunday where they beat the Sacramento United 3-0. The Championship game was played at the Santa Clara Sporting Complex against the PAC Tigres of San Jose.

The Breakers prevailed over their rivals 3-2, goals scored by Yosef Richardson, Eric Mendez, and
Andoni Trejo. Brenny Hillan was in goal for the tournament recording two strong saves in the second half of the championship game.

The U14B SCC Breakers are coached by Mark Hogenhout and managed by Aaron Merriweather.
