97 Breakers finish in the top 8 at the Nor-Cal Premier State Cup

The 97 Breakers Boys returned home from the Nor-Cal Premier State Cup Championships in Manteca as quarter-finalists. The Breakers received the top seed in the tournament after sweeping through the qualifying round, outscoring opponents 22-4 in 3 games. The Breakers then reached the knockout round of the tournament by winning their next three games in group play, scoring 15 goals and conceding only 3. In their quarter final game against SV United, the Breakers fought hard to come back from 3-0 down, but eventually dropped the game 3-2, ending their run in the tourney, but solidifying their place as one of the top teams in Northern California.
